Happy Mother’s Day!

On Sunday, May 8th, is the day that we celebrate the woman who gave life to us and introduced us to the world: our Moms.

Now being a mom myself I’ve always been excited for this occasion, not only for the gifts that I get but more because of the nice gestures that I receive from my family and friends.

First thing that I did on that day was of course, greet all the mothers in my life. I chose a passage from the bible which I think best describes how each mother and woman should be: “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down. – Proverbs 14:1″. I also got nice messages on my mobile phone and on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. My favorite of all was from my mother-in-law: “Happy Mother’s Day too. Congratulations for being a responsible, caring mother and a patient wife to Noy. Love you, I hope and I pray that God will keep you healthy and strong.”

My husband was also extra sweet. Actually he was the first to greet me. He also gave me this:

God’s Doll House…

Just recently, while my daughter and I were preparing to go to school, she asked me out of the blue: “Mommy, our house is God’s doll house, right?”. I asked her how and why. My daughter, with her innocent little mind, replied: “Because He puts everything that we need inside our house..”
